You can now get the most current end of day close value from a running copy of
Track 'n Trade Pro v4.0 into a program supporting Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE)
such as MS Excel or OpenOffice.org Calc.

To access DDE data you need to know at least three values. The server, topic and
item strings. The Track 'n Trade Pro v4.0 service and topic names are TNTPRO4
and GSIDB. The item string in it's basic form is the symbol you are requesting,
e.g. C2007Z. Service and Topic names are case insensitive. Item names are not.

An example for getting data into a cell in MS Excel:
=TNTPRO4|GSIDB!C2007Z

An example for getting data into a cell in OpenOffice.org:
=DDE("TNTPRO4";"GSIDB";"C2007Z")

An example for using the TNTPRO4 DDE link would be someone who wants to have a
cell in a spreadsheet that automatically updates with a market's most recently
downloaded close.

To do this you would put the appropriate formula into that cell after starting
Track 'n Trade Pro v4.0 and downloading today's data. Your spread sheet program
should then query TNTPRO4 for the latest value of your requested market and that
value will appear in the cell.

After the market has closed the next day you would open Track 'n Trade Pro v4.0
again and download the market updates. When the data download is finished and
TNTPRO4 is running again, open your saved spread sheet. The cell should now have
today's market close.

Important:  In order for your spread sheet to update with the new data you must
open TNTPRO4 first. If you open your spreadsheet program first the data fields
will not update properly.
