1. Lines: The 10x8 & 3x3 MAC consist of two lines. Each line's
parameters may be changed independently in the options screen.
2. Period: The period values of the MAC indicators are not
editable. If you would like to specify different time periods for an
average, it is recommended that you use a moving average instead of the
MAC indicators.
3. Type: Choose between Simple, Linearly Weighted, and
Exponentially Smoothed averages for each line. Click on the drop down
menu and select the type desired.
4. Data: To change the data that the line is based on click on
the drop down menu. The options available are: High, Low, Open, and
Close.
5. Style & Color: Average lines can be displayed as solid,
dashed, or dotted lines. Click on the drop down menu to specify the type
of line style. Next to the drop down menu is the color box for the line.
Click on the color box to choose a new color from the Color Palette.
6. Check these boxes to display the 3x3 and/or the 10x8 MAC lines
on your charts.
7. Click on "Apply to Active Charts" if you would like to see
your selected settings on all the charts you have open. Click on
"Restore Factory Defaults" if you would like to restore original
software settings.
8. Help: Information from the manual has been integrated into the
software. When clicking on the "Help" button you will get specific
documentation based on the location of the button. You may also press F1
on your keyboard to access this information.
