Please check to make sure you are running the most current version of Gecko-Charts 2000 by going to the HELP menu and clicking on ABOUT GECKO CHARTS.  Gecko Charts is now equipped with a self-update feature.  Your current version should be running Version 2.0.10. 

If you are not running Version 2.0.10 or later.

1. Try clicking on the data download button.  You should then be prompted that a new update has been released.  Click YES indicating that you want to receive the update.  After the data-download is complete, you will need to restart your computer in order for the change to take effect.

If you are running Version 2.0.0 and you click on the data download and the program does not prompt you to update the current patch, please do the following steps. 

1.                  Download this reset utility (file size Approx. 36K) filename: reset-gc2000.exe

2.                  Close out all applications you may be running

3.                  Double click on reset-gc2000.exe (You will see a small dialogue box indicating it has completed resetting your key information.)

4.                  Now double click on your Gecko Charts icon on your desktop.  It will prompt you to re-register the software.  Go through the registration process.

5.                  After registering, it will bring up the program.  Click on your Data Download button (It will not prompt you to update yet)  Let it finish downloading, then click on the data download button once more.  You should see it prompt you to download the current version.  Click YES and it will take care of the update.

6.                  You must restart your computer for changes to take effect.
